After being introduced to the teachings of Jesus in Beginnings: An Introduction to the Christian Faith, participants will then ask "What are the spiritual characteristics of someone who follows Christ?" Beginnings: The Spiritual Life helps people answer that question by exploring ten habits of spirituality, as the continue their Christian journey. 10 Sessions.

How much am I willing to risk? (The Spiritual Habit of Courage)
What is most important to me? (The Spiritual Habit of Loving)
Can I find balance in a whirlwind world? (The Spiritual Habit of Centering)
What do I want to be when I grow up? (The Spiritual Habit of Simplicity)
How do I keep my possessions from possessing me? (The Spiritual Habit of Giving)
How do I get ahead? (The Spiritual Habit of Serving)
Can I go deeper without going under? (The Spiritual Habit of Trusting)
What can I do with my doubts? (The Spiritual Habit of Questioning)
Can a change in me change the world? (The Spiritual Habit of Engaging)
Each session begins with a meal, at church or in a home. Participants then view a 20 minute video in which Rob Weber explores the week's topic through story and Scripture.
The Planning Kit contains one of each component: Director's manual, Small-Group Leader's Guide, Participant's Guide, Participant's Companion Book Habits of the Heart and the video presentations on DVD.
