When it comes to being a Christian, some people may take a "WHATever" approach; knowing they are saved through Jesus to go to heaven, but being unwilling to change their lifestyle and attitude to embrace Christ's. Pastor/author Terry Pooler noticed this approach several times in his forty-plus years of ministry, with hypocritical Christians who judged rather than loved. In his new book, The Whatever Factor, he explores his coined terms of "WHATever" and "whatEVER" attitudes, in relation to the dispensation of grace, salvation security and anticipation of heaven. Terry describes how the misconceptions about salvation can lead some people to believe they have to be perfect to be saved, or nothing needs to be changed after salvation, including lifestyles. Utilizing examples from the Bible and personal reflections from his ministry, Terry believes embodying a whatEVER attitude shows God you will do whatever it takes to be a true Christ-follower.
