Do you yearn for a deeper or more loving relationship with Christ? Do you have an insatiable appetite to grow in the Lord? But are you afraid of taking public your private faith walk? If so, you hold in your hands the key to unlock an open and more meaningful relationship with God. Author Bob Lillie explains in great detail two life-changing weekend retreats for Catholics and Protestants, the Catholic Cursillo and the Protestant Walk To Emmaus. Full of anecdotes, Sermons By a Sinner explains the difference of each retreat and how each is structured to help those in attendance develop a deeper love and relationship with our Lord and Savior. The fifteen talks from the three-day weekend are given by laymen and some by clergy. Lillie incorporates his impressions of these talks without infringing on the confidential and personal witnessing shared by others. Lillie speaks with authority when he conveys the importance of these Christ-center weekend retreats. In more than twenty-five years of serving the Lord, Lillie has attended or taught at thirty-one such retreats. His desire is to ignite the flame of desire to passionately pursue Christ. BOB LILLIE is a retired school administrator and football coach. He received his Bachelors degree from Eureka College, Eureka, Illinois and his Masters degree from Bradley University in Peoria Illinois.
