God Is Calling is a program for family faith formation that is rooted in story and family sharing. These wonderfully illustrated and contemporary storybooks help bring families together by allowing adults and children to read and share activities and thoughts about the same stories. The illustrations are colorful and contemporary, while the stories are treasures from the Hebrew Scriptures, the New Testament, and the journeys of modern saints and believers.
God Is Calling Together Time activity books provide grown-up pages to help parents prepare for each lesson, as well as child's pages to help the family better share the message of the lesson's story. These activities can be used by couples, single parents, grandparents, godparents, or any caring adults, to engage children in conversation around the rich faith stories contained in the God Is Calling program.
God Is Calling offers a simple, yet comprehensive, catechesis that is both formational as well as educational. It can be used as an intergenerational family series, as catechetical material for children involved in the Rite of Christian Initiation, or for "catch-up" catechesis for children whose parents are returning to the church.
