Here are twelve instrumental renditions of ten traditional and two contemporary hymns containing strong Celtic and Appalachian influences produced by Jeff Johnson. Whether or not you recognize the melodies, and whether or not you know the words often attributed to these tunes, there is something that deeply resonates in the soul when listening to "A Quiet Knowing." Johnson, who also plays keyboards, is joined by Brian Dunning on flutes and accordian, John Fitzpatrick on violin, Tim Ellis on guitar, Gregg Williams on percussion, Phil Baker on bass and Jami Sieber on cello.
