Discovering God's Love program uses Gospel Light's three-step teaching method of Play, Listen and Talk. It's packed with fun activities including art, music, games, Bible stories, worship and more to introduce preschoolers to God and His Word and follows the same Bible stories as Gospel Light's preschool quarterly kit.
Features: Bible stories told in a fresh way that involves kids with simple motions. Play-based Bible activities designed to involve preschoolers in the way they learn best (Art, Active Games, Blocks and Science). Tips are provided on how to modify activities for younger or older children. Kindergartners will be creatively challenged. Each activity center features Talk About conversation suggestions that help teachers connect the child's activity to the Bible story or the Bible verse and apply the Bible truth to everyday life. Includes a large-group worship time for children with activities for prayer, hearing God's word, praising God, music and helping children get acquainted.
Note: This curriculum can be used by any church for their second hour program. Churches that use Gospel Light for Sunday School will find it good to know that the Bible story and the Bible verse are the same as in Gospel Light's Preschool Sunday School. However, the storytelling method, the play-based activities are all different from those used in Sunday School.
