In the midst of all the scientific and technical advances and achievements, the contemporary person is anxious to find again the light of Truth; that is why it is today more urgent than ever to proclaim the Good News of Jesus. Under this necessary and evangelizing program, these reflections are presented as essential for the encounter with the humanity of Jesus--as presented by Mark--and can inspire our prayer life and motivate us in our mission, which is not easy, to be today the light of the world and salt of the earth.
