This three-session unit in the Connect series is designed to help middle school youth see 1) the empty appeal of short-term decisions to lie and cheat, 2) the long-term consequences of making poor choices and 3) the importance of developing a deep and consistent faith that guides decision-making.
Session 1: Truth or Consequences - focuses on understanding that the biblical mandate to be truthful makes our lives better than they are when we get wrapped up in lies.
Session 2: Cheating: The Big Picture - explores the fact that cheating undermines relationships.
Session 3: Character Matters - looks at the positive aspects of living the way God calls us to live.
