This three-session unit in the Connect series for junior high classes provides specific information baout HIV/AIDS. Youth will also identify and practice actions that can both help to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and support a person infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
Session 1: Know the Facts - focuses on knowledge being one antidote for the spread of HIV/AIDS.
Session 2: Act Courageously - bridges the important gap between knowledge and action.
Session 3: Show Mercy - focuses on helping youth define and portray mercy when they think of HIV/AIDS.
