This unit will acknowledge the cry of many young teens, “Nobody listens to me!” Youth will examine why others might be disinclined to listen, will look at the importance of listening to one another in Christian community, and will realize that our caring God always listens.
Session 1:
WHY NOBODY LISTENS TO ME
After identifying tendencies toward extremes (excessive or recessive speaking), youth will be better able to be a part of a Christian community that listens.
Session 2:
GOD LISTENS!
This session will assure teens that God listens to their prayers, even when it feels like nobody else is listening.
