The Daily Christian Advocate (DCA) is published for delegates to the General Conference of The United Methodist Church. The Advance Edition of the DCA contains reports for the general agencies and study commissions along with legislative proposals from agencies, annual conferences, United Methodist groups, local churches and individuals. The material is organized according to the legislative committee to which it is assigned.
The delegates' handbook (Volume 1 of the Advance Edition DCA) contains valuable information for the delegates about the venue, registration, agenda, delegate lists, legislative committees ,and the "Plan of Organization and Rules of Order" that is proposed for adoption at the first plenary session.
The Report of the General Council on Finance and Administration (GCFA), Volume 3 of the Advance Edition DCA contains quadrennial financial reports for the denomination.
All issues of the DCA are issued by authority of the Commission on General Conference.
