Pampeana Glass Art & Green Living Tree
started with Pampeana over 10 years ago promoting leather mask from an
artist from Argentina for about 4 years. We then partnered with the
Wichi community in Northerm Argentina for about 5 years. In 2006, we met
two young glass artists from Ecuador whom we still work with. In 2008,
we got involved with an organization helping in the promotion of tagua
products and since 2010, we created the Green Living Tree Collection
that focused on products originated from a tree. Today, we have two collection we have invested time, energy, and creativity: Pampeana Glass Art & Green Living Tree.
Glass Art and Green Living Tree supports Fair Trade standards for
labor, environmentalism and social policy relating to production and
distribution of Fair Trade goods as well as USA made products. Our
focus is to work with individuals of low education and economical
resources providing opportunities that allow them to have a stable
environment and help them move from a position of vulnerability to one
of security and economic self-sufficiency. Our focus is also to work with recycle or renewable materials that have low or non impact on our environment.
aims to empower these individuals by encouraging them to become
stakeholders in their own organizations and to actively play a wider
role in the design and development of handcraft products. In
the spirit of fairness, we also stride to create balance between the
work that is done in Ecuador and the one done in the USA. As a result of
that, we have a few products made in the USA. Pampeana operations in the USA impact the life of over 70 families outside the USA and about 20 families in the USA. When
you purchase a product promoted by Pampeana, you become an ambassador
of Fair Trade principles, supporting equality and sustainability as well
as helping to preserve our environment. Small steps in the right direction take us further along our journey to a better world for everyone.
wife, my four kids, the USA team, all of our Artisans and I thank you
for your business and support, but most importantly for your partnership
