Leaving Home • Finding Home will help young children understand the many reasons people move from one place to another. Children will read about the courage it takes to make a new place home. Children will also understand that the Bible is the story of many migrating peoples and learn how to welcome people in their community. It is 60-70 pages long and the print is children friendly. It has places for children to write and includes photos of places for them to look at. A separate book for children has been developed this time so that children will have their own books to follow that they would take back with them and use the books in other settings as well. Ann Broyles is a well-known author for children.
