Infusion Bible eStudies are downloadable small group studies that can be read online, printed, or emailed. Each study includes a leader guide and a study guide and is suitable for a one-hour group Bible study. Listen...to the words of the Scripture, and in them discover God's message for you today. Look...at a brief verbal snapshot from the scrapbook of contemporary life and discover its connection both to you and to the Scripture passage. Live...inside the Scripture to discover its context and message; then allow the Scripture to come alive in you and cause you to live out your faith in new and more-effective ways. Read an excerpt from this study below. -------------------------- Dwight, a friend of mine, often quoted his father: “Self-praise stinks.” The statement was to the point and very effective in addressing someone who was bent on making sure everyone in earshot knew how wonderful he or she was. If praise truly is appropriate, it should come from another person. If the only one who takes on the task of praising is the person receiving the praise, of what real value is it? Joseph should probably be included as a true giant of faith. We will need to move past his boasting, however, and acknowledge that his dreams really did come true. God’s will was accomplished through him despite the brokenness in his family.
