Product Description
Infusion Bible eStudies are downloadable small group studies that can be read online, printed, or emailed. Each study includes a leader guide and a study guide and is suitable for a one-hour group Bible study.

Listen...to the words of the Scripture, and in them discover God's message for you today.

Look...at a brief verbal snapshot from the scrapbook of contemporary life and discover its connection both to you and to the Scripture passage.

Live...inside the Scripture to discover its context and message; then allow the Scripture to come alive in you and cause you to live out your faith in new and more-effective ways.

Read an excerpt from this study below.

--------------------------

The 1987 movie Wall Street told the story of a ruthless corporate raider, Gordon Gekko, who acquired a small airline at a tidy profit. He then proceeded to sell off the airline’s routes, making a financial killing for himself but throwing the company’s employees out of work without their pensions.

Bud Fox, the young stockbroker who fed Gekko the insider information that made the transaction wildly profitable, was demoralized by Gekko’s looting of the airline. So Fox confronted Gekko, demanding, “Why do you need to wreck this company?” Gekko responded, “Because it’s wreckable, all right?”

Although the plot of that film is fiction, its portrayal of greed reflects a widespread reality. Most people on Wall Street would oppose Gekko’s law-breaking approach to making money. Yet his larger goal—getting very rich—is commonly accepted even on Main Street if it can be done legally. But what about “ethically” and “nobody getting hurt in the process”? Too often those are not guiding principles. Even some Christians buy into a value system that places the acquisition of wealth above almost every other consideration.

Micah lived centuries ago; but hardly a word of his prophecy needs to be changed to apply to us who, like Judah, forget that God requires of us justice, kindness, and a humble walk with him.
