Eunice Porter grew up in a large family in a farming community on the western prairies of Canada. She left the 'nest' after High School, to attend Bible School, and then Teachers College. She taught school in northern Saskatchewan for three years, and subsequently served as a missionary teacher in Ethiopia for several years. She is now retired from a career in banking. Eunice always had a love for math, and also a fascination with words and languages, but not any desire to seriously write. This, her first book, came about after God met her during one of many spiritually dry seasons in her life. It was life-changing The words of Psalm 40:2-3 became her personal story. God began downloading thoughts and themes into her spirit, and initially, maybe because of her reluctance, gave her the words to express the truths He had been teaching her. At the same time, He spoke to her from Jeremiah 30:2, to "write in a book... all the words that I have spoken to you." Her prayer is that God's truth will shine through the pages of this book and "the Truth will set you free."
