In the months of healing and rehabilitation that follow only brief glimpses of his former life resurface. During his time in a psychiatric ward, he meets a murderous inmate possessed by an evil presence who brings tragedy into Steel's life in the months that follow his hospital stay. Now he searches the countryside for his archenemy, the thirteenth demon. Filled with rage and thirst for revenge, his quest brings him to Lakeside, Louisiana, where a small country church has come under the influence of evil. Could this be the demon Jonathan is chasing? Steel puts together a team of experts to confront the entity, and in the process, something he hoped would never happen, happens: love enters his life. As he faces the evil presence he must choose between helping the people he has come to care about or destroying the thirteenth demon in a final confrontation between good and evil. Which will it be?
