We know about the virgin birth, the manger, and the shepherds-but with the annual retelling of this story, we have lost our sense of wonder. If we sit back and think about it, this is an amazing, miraculous story A virgin gave birth to a son, and that son would one day save the souls of human kind. At Christmas especially, we run around, buying presents, preparing food, and decorating our homes. But do we remember what the season is all about? Do we remember the wonder of Christ-the virgin birth, the star in the sky, and the night travelers, coming to praise the new birth? It's time we paused in wonder; it's time we heard the night wind whisper, "Awake Praise Him "
