Ten-year-old Annie lives in a small apartment above a mom-and-pop grocery store with her mother and eight-year-old brother, Mark. A tiny and nearly barren Christmas tree with a few homemade ornaments stands in the middle of the makeshift bedroom/living room. An old white sheet is draped around the bottom of the shabby tree. The family has very little, even though Annie's friends always seem to have so much. The meaning of Christmas changes for Annie as two generous strangers make a surprise appearance one cold, wintry night that would change her life forever. Christmas is a wonderful time of year to celebrate the birth of our Savior. We cannot forget, however, that Jesus wants us to foremost know His love, salvation, and grace. In Annie's Miracle, Annie soon realizes there is more to Christmas than toys, twinkling lights, and beautiful ornaments.
