I write about my patients because I can't help it. Their stories, issues, illnesses, courage and their love ... brew inside my heart. This is how I process ... how I reconcile God's love, God's purposes and God's interventions. It is where I learn to be human and love as they do. Otherwise I would be blown over with the finality and deep pain of it all. I am grateful that God allows me participation in His interaction with humanity. I am thankful for my profession ... for this "job," for this privilege in my life. My patients give me more than I could ever give them. They heal ME. These are their stories ... and mine.
