Each study unit reviews the stories of selected biblical "dysfunctional" families such as:
- Abraham, Sarah, and Hagar
- Jacob, Leah, and Rachel
- Moses, Miriam, and Aaron
- Lois, Eunice, and Timothy
- Mordecai and Esther
- Mary, Martha, and Lazarus
After each text is reviewed, a historical explanation is offered to help make the story come alive in an understandable way. Reflection questions close each study and can be used personally or in groups.
