There are many different threats that we as a nation and as a
people need to be concerned about – from terrorism to economic
despair to natural disasters, we must be actively prepared for
almost anything. But none of these more obvious threats are as
pervasive and ultimately detrimental as the void which has developed
between strong, mature men and the next generation of
younger men.
Within any community, and the black community in particular,
it is this threat of absent fathers, complacent leaders and general
passivity which will eventually lead to a world without morality
and conviction. This book is a passionate charge to black men to
protect their families.
