This four-session unit in the Connect series for junior high classes gives youth the opportunity to read and learn to appreciate Bible stories that may seem strange to them.
Session 1: Strange Stuff in the Bible - surveys the Bible for strange occurrences, to recognize why they seem strange to us and to learn how to get past the strangeness to the meaning.
Session 2: Eye-Opening Miracles - focuses on the miracles and their purpose to inspire faith in God.
Session 3: The World's Biggest Fish Story and Other Jaw-Dropping Happenings - focuses on extraordinary events that are not healings and reflect on their meaning.
Session 4: Mind-Blowing Resurrections - explores one of the most stranges and wonderful events in the Bible - resurrection.
