This VBS invites kids to be menders in God's world. As they make connections between Bible stories and mendiing actions, they'll discover simple ways to live out faith in daily life. Everyone at Operation Restoration explores language and practices to mend God's world. Each day at Operation Restoration features a theme word, Bible story, and several activities that explore what it means to be a mender in God's world.

Day 1: FEED
Bible Story: Exodus 16:1-36
Mending Action: God Gives enough food.

Day 2: HEAL
Bible Story: Luke 13:10-17
Mending Action: Jesus heals those who are sick and hurt.
Kids Connection: We're mending God's world when we help sick and hurt people.
Day 3: FORGIVE
Bible Story: Matthew 18:21-22
Mending Action: Jesus forgives us and tells us to forgive.
Kids Connection: We're mending God's world when we forgive and ask for forgiveness.
Day 4: PRAY
Bible Story: Luke 11:1-4
Mending Action: Jesus teaches us to pray.
Kids Connection: We're mending God's world when we pray for those who need help.
Day 5: REST
Bible Story: Exodus 16:23-30; 20:8-11; 23:10-12
Mending Action: God gives sabbath for all creation to rest.
Kids Connection: We're mending God's world when we rest to spend time with God, others, and creation.
