This elegant and sparkling traditionally-designed handcrafted Flagon features a seamless body made of heavily silver-plated brass with gold plated lining. A lovely asset for your Communion service, this Flagon has a comfortable easy-to-grip handle, a dripless spout, and a sturdy base; the top features a cross at the apex. Heavily silver-plated surfaces are buffed to mirror brightness; flannel storage bags are included. Flagon holds 2 quarts.

Communion is also known as Holy Communion, The Lord's Supper, and The Eucharist (from the Greek word for thanksgiving). The bread and wine (or juice of the grape) used in the service are known in liturgical traditions as the Elements. Communion is a Christian sacrament. The sacraments are outward, visible signs of an inward, spiritual grace. Communion recalls the last supper of Jesus with the disciples and Christ's continuing presence with us.
