This elegant fresh five candle Maine Balsam Centerpiece is the largest style we offer. It is decorated with ice branches, paper flowers, two white doves, and a cream and gold bow. Over this bed of decorated greens are five tapered candles symbolizing the colors of Advent: three 8" purple, one 8" pink, and one 10" white. Arranged in a floral-foam block for easy watering. Because balsam products are handcrafted, sizes will vary. Please remember, never leave burning candles unattended. Appromixately 27"L x 13"W.
Begins shipping mid-November.
Worcester Wreath is the only wreath company that manages its own forests to provide the freshest balsam in the industry. By grooming the very best balsam for our products, we control its lush, dark green color, its thick texture, its needle health and strength, all of which adds to the aroma of that great forest scent.
Only part of each branch is harvested so that the branch can produce another tip for a future harvest. We cut no more than half that foliage in a single year so that the tree can remain vigorous. For maximum tip production harvesting should be done every three years. Cutting from a tree every year will tap the vigor of the tree and eventually kill it. Our balsam products are harvest in a sustainable manner so that our forest maintains its beauty year after year.
Worcester Wreath Co. is also well known for its President, Morrill Worcester, and his role in starting the Arlington Wreath Project at Arlington National Cemetery. Starting in 1992, Worcester Wreath donated 5,000 wreaths to be placed on veterans grave sites at Arlington National Cemetery. It has grown to be an annual event taken over by the not for profit Wreaths Across America.
