On the occasion of the 60th birthday of Karlheinz Ruhstorfer, befriended scholars deal with his proposal of a new identity in methodological, theological-philosophical, historical and spiritual respects. This new identity for a "post-modern" society is to be generated through a compilation of differences, creating a productivity with which the challenges of the future can be addressed.
