German description: Das komplexe Verhaltnis von Gottes Handeln und der Freiheit des Menschen zu vermitteln, stellt eine grundlegende und bleibende Aufgabe aller theologischer Reflexion dar. English summary: Mediating the complex relationship between God's action and human freedom is a fundamental and enduring task of all theological reflection. The challenges associated with this topic include the reconstruction of biblical experiences of freedom, the historical and systematic development of the Christian discourse on freedom as well as the proving of the tense relationship between human freedom and God's action in pastoral practice and contemporary challenges. The lectures of the 24th annual conference of the Rudolf Bultmann Society for Hermeneutic Theology e.V. document the results of interdisciplinary reflection on these challenges.
