When journalist Daniel Fitzpatrick travels to Rome to interview Cardinal Nicolo Menconi, the Cardinal asks him to investigate some mysterious documents, which Daniel hopes will lead to a bombshell story and possible book deal. There's one catch: he has to work with the Cardinal's beautiful niece, Francesca "Frannie" Menconi. The unlikely pair are thrown into the crosshairs of a mafia triangle that may reach into the highest ranks of the Catholic Church. Their search for the truth takes them from Rome to Salzburg, where Daniel and Frannie uncover one surprise after the next. She received her Master's in Theology from the Augustine Institute in 2019. An empty-nester, she resides in Colorado with her husband.
