My mother has been my spiritual coach for as long as I can remember. She planted the seed and made sure that it grew. My walk with Christ can always get closer, but I can honestly say that without my mother's introduction. Who knows how long I could have been lost. Her guidance and availability to always be there to field my questions will be missed more than anyone will ever know... She has kept us close as a family and brought us all even closer to our heavenly father. This goes out to my mother who woke me up Sundays so I could spend time learning about the creator of our heavens and the earth, while I could have been sleeping in. My mother that use to take us to church Wednesdays in order to continue our fellowship with people of the same faith, while I could have been outside playing sports. My mother who taught me by having Jesus on my side I would having nothing to fear, while I could have just been bullied from other children. My mother who taught me how to rebuke Satin as a child from coming against me throughout my day, when I could of just left the doors open for all to come in. My mother who answered all my questions that I would pose about God, while of could have been wondering around without answers. My mother who encouraged me to grow my relationship with the Holy Spirit, when I could have just ignored the truth. My mother who taught me about a time that I will need answers for decisions that I have made, or I could have just remained unaccountable. Jean E. Poates, my mother who prepared me to once again meet her at the throne of grace. I Love You Mother... Lovingly Dedicated to my Mother and Friend, you are where you always yearned to be, closest to our Lord. You are greatly missed and now live on earth through the memories and stories of those who loved you. Michael
