Breaking into Prison is about a person, a book, and a purpose. It is about a job God wanted done and He went about equipping an unlikely candidate in David Howell. How strange it is that God would use a drunk, a philanderer, and constant trouble maker and jailbird to launch a project to get the gospel to millions. Maybe not so strange when you consider all of those millions were behind bars. Most of all, this story is about how God can and will use anyone who is willing, no matter how sin-stained, to accomplish His purpose and reveal the gospel to those He targets. This is a story or evangelism and getting the word out...It is also a story of how God flips a stubborn obstinate drunk into a determined and persistent servant to do His will and spread the gospel. No email blasts, television, radio, podcasts, or social media. Just the printed word and the Good News of Jesus Christ to reach millions.
