The word frenemy, meaning a person who seems to be a friend but is actually an enemy, has become a part of the English lexicon in recent years. And social-networking websites have given us the words unfriend and defriend. Such words are common in a culture where many people have a fuzzy understanding of friendship. LinC talks about frenemies and defriending, and we'll also look at ways in which Christians can nurture friendships that honor God. Yet much of the global community has overlooked this crisis, and donations to relief efforts have been paltry. Also there are many other disasters, conflicts, and epidemics that never make the “world” news. Yet the forgotten victims of these tragedies are God's beloved creations.
