On May 27, LinC looks at another of the summer’s big sequels: Spider-Man 3. Thanks to some black goop from outer space, Spidey has a new suit that gives him greater powers but makes him selfish, haughty, and aggressive; but Spider-Man is able to overcome the goop and do the right thing. The alien ooze in Spider-Man 3 is a lot like sin. Even though all humans have been stained by sin, with God’s help we can still choose to do what’s right. On June 3, LinC reminds us that youth who are graduating from high school will enter a new phase of life that may involve moving out of their parents' house and dramatic changes of routine. Amid these changes, staying connected to God and maintaining daily and weekly spiritual habits can be difficult. This issue looks at how to stay spiritually nourished during the summer and beyond.
