This book takes a number of situations that arose in the Diocese of Cork, Cloyne and Ross during the 1990s and reflects on them from an Episcopal perspective. It draws attention to both the constraints and opportunities of the Episcopal office as it is exercised in the Church of Ireland. Drawing on the Constitution of the Church of Ireland and the Resolution of Lambeth Conferences it produces accurate background information on such issues as Episcopal elections and the current debate on human sexuality. Roy Warke served as Archdeacon of Dublin from 1980-88 and Bishop of Cork, Cloyne and Ross from 1988-98. In 1964, he married his wife Eileen with whom he has two daughters
