After a decade in the big city, Spring Showers returns to her hometown of Whispering Cypress just as the local campground comes up for sale. It may be a dilapidated mess now, but Spring remembers it in its heyday and jumps at the chance to own it and restore it to its former glory.
Hackett Woods, local woodsman and carpenter, also has a soft spot for Whispering Cypress Campground...and for Spring. Though she left him behind when she made her run for the city, the sparks still fly between them. Hackett hopes offering his services to renovate the camp might give them a chance to pick up where they left off all those years ago.
Can Spring trust herself if she hires Hackett to repair and remodel the cabins?
And when threatening phone calls and notes start up and a child goes missing at the campground, the more important question is -- can she trust him?
