Miracles, Yours For The Asking is a collection of stories that are so astounding, they cannot be explained away by logic or coincidence. If anyone ever told me that one day I would pray a dead cat back, or run for mayor to bring change to a corrupt government, I would have thought they'd gone mad. As a musician who earned a living as a piano technician, I had no political background, but I found that no matter what it is, if you call upon God and He enters the picture, all things are possible. And God is no respecter of persons. I'm nobody in particular, but my prayers carry as much weight as the loudest and most dramatic televangelist. They certainly carry infinitely more weight than those few misguided televangelists who sell miracles. Jesus never charged for a miracle and neither should anyone else, because with God, miracles are ours for the asking. Royalties from this book will be tithed to Eunice Bennett (Songs Of Deliverance Ministries) an up-and-coming international evangelist, and Jentezen Franklin, a true voice of God. Lucille Joyner pursued a career as a jazz pianist in New York City. After marrying and having children, she became a single mother and went into piano business. Her writing career was launched when she became speechwriter for the town's first female mayor and she was asked to write a column by a local editor. Her humorous stories are published in The Piano Technicians Guild Journal and the Volvo newsletter. She is semi-retired from the piano business to concentrate on writing.
