This monologue is a narrative of the resurrection from Mary Magdalene’s perspective. She was with Jesus when he died, followed his body to the tomb, and was the first to talk with him after he rose again. The set is outside Jesus tomb, and the stone is still rolled away from the entrance. A stonewall or bench is located outside the entrance where Mary sits to tell part of her story.
