There wasn't time for any more questions or any more doubt. There was a knock at the door. I opened the door to a tall, handsome, smiling man, the firstborn of my twins. Time stood still as he held me at arm's length and lovingly said, "I've been waiting for this day for a long time." Within a few minutes, his twin brother arrived. No floodgate could hold back my emotions. I felt peace, joy, and completeness. I was eternally thankful for their parents, who had raised these incredible young men. I was thankful and eager for the journey that was about to begin. And I was even more thankful that the saying "All good things must come to an end" didn't apply today, because this first encounter went far beyond my expectations. This was just the beginning for us.
