In this study, Jacob Armstrong uses the lens of the Book of Nehemiah to explore the idea of spiritual renovation. In Session 2, Crying and Building, we learn that even though Nehemiah was living in exile, he held a respected and valued position as the king’s cupbearer. But in one moment, as can happen with any of us, Nehemiah was jolted out of his complacent life and brought to tears by the news about Jerusalem. Renovation almost always starts with tears.
