The Old Testament explores the books of the Old Testament: the Torah, historical books, Psalms and Proverbs, as well as the messianic prophecies. This is not an in-depth study of these books but rather a general introduction to the various parts of the Bible that so influenced our Christian beginnings. The books of the Old Testament are "timeless because they speak to an unchanging and always-new God and to the strengths and dreams, sins and flaws of human nature then and now."
