Promoting a Safer Church presents the Church of England�s policy statement for safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults, which applies to all Church bodies and Church officers.
It sets out the five foundations on which the policy is based, the six policy commitments that need to underpin all safeguarding work within the Church, and the drive to improve safeguarding practice.
All Church bodies should ensure that all Church officers have access to this policy statement and should make sure its contents are promoted, publicised and put into action.
