Since September 11th, there is a particular need to understand what drives fundamentalisms of all kinds. Percy and Jones examine the phenomenon of religious fundamentalism from a variety of angles: fundamentalism within a broad Protestant context; the psychology of fundamentalism, prejudice, and political conservatism; the position of demonology within fundamentalism; and fundamentalism as a global movement, with specific references to Latin America, Africa, and fundamentalism within other faiths, particularly Judaism and Islam.
