This three-session unit from the Connect series is designed to give middle school youth the larger context of the entire Bible. This context is related in three basic stories:
1. The story of the Jewish people before Jesus' birth, as recorded in the Old Testament.
2. The story of Jesus and his disciples during Jesus' lifetime, as recorded in the Gospels.
3. The story of the early church after Jesus' lifetime, as recorded in Acts and Epistles (the rest of the New Testament).
