To open ourselves to the many ways God's healing power comes to us through faith in Jesus Christ
$9.49
Product Description

Infusion Bible eStudies are downloadable small group studies that can be read online, printed, or emailed. Each study includes a leader guide and a study guide and is suitable for a one-hour group Bible study.

Listen...to the words of the Scripture, and in them discover God's message for you today.

Look...at a brief verbal snapshot from the scrapbook of contemporary life and discover its connection both to you and to the Scripture passage.

Live...inside the Scripture to discover its context and message; then allow the Scripture to come alive in you and cause you to live out your faith in new and more-effective ways.

I did not intend to upset the emergency room staff, but I did. We had arrived around 9:00 pm with my mother displaying symptoms of a mild stroke. The staff responded with caring efficiency. We were grateful that the usually crowded waiting area was empty—we received undivided attention. I made the comment, “It really seems quiet tonight.” Immediately three staff members descended on me and made it clear “You never say those words in the emergency room!” Later, I learned from nurses in our family that those words are not to be uttered around any nurses’ station. Too many times those words have been the prelude to an onslaught of patients and problems.

Even during busy times, however, hospitals have an efficient system in place that usually starts with triage. Triage began as a battlefield process of determining who among the wounded was most in need to be treated first. Similarly, in a modern emergency room those in greatest need of attention are identified and treated first. Those receiving priority attention appreciate this way of doing things. It can, however, be frustrating for those whose wait is prolonged because critical cases keep coming through the doors.

This lesson will consider what it means to seek healing for oneself; what it means to seek healing for a loved one, yet face delay; and how our Great Physician responds when multiple cries for healing come at the same time.
