Nancy Ortberg
served as a Teaching Pastor for 8 years at Willow Creek Community Church at South Barrington, Illinois.  Nancy lead the Network ministry, helping people identify their spiritual gifts and find a place of service in the church and Axis for the 18-20 something generation.  Axis included weekend services of 1200-1500 people in their 20s who worshipped together, served the poor and participated in small group communities.  Currently Nancy is doing church consulting and speaking on topics of community, leadership development and organizational dynamics in the church.  She has led training sessions for Bart Compolo, Erwin McManus, Willow Creek Community Church and the Christian Management Association.  Nancy also writes a regular column call "Faith Forum" for Today's Christian Woman and was a contributor to Christian Reflections on the Leadership Challenge (Jossey-Bass).  She and her husband, John, live in the San Francisco Bay area and have three children, Laura, Mallory and Johnny.
