Jennifer Chiaverini
Jennifer Chiaverini taught herself to quilt in 1994 and has been quilting ever since. She wrote "The Quilter's Apprentice,"  her first novel, as a gift for the quilters she has known who have blessed her life with their friendship. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame and a former writing instructor at Penn State, she now lives with her husband in Madison, Wisconsin, where she is working on her second novel and her eighteenth quilt.
