Jacques Berlinerblau is Associate Professor of Jewish Civilization at Georgetown University, where he also directs the Program for Jewish Civilization at the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. He has written for many publications, including The Chronicle of Higher Education, and is a featured columnist on the Washington Post’s Web site. His most recent book is The Secular Bible: Why Nonbelievers Must Take Religion Seriously.
