“New Love – New Mercy,” our 2009 Commitment theme, is based on Lamentations 3:21-24.
But This I call to mind, and therefore I have hope:
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in Him.”
This year’s theme centers on the ideas of love and mercy and how they are intricately part of our relationship with God and one another. Realizing God is always with us helps us seek out ways to bring love to the world while showing mercy.
This Regular Bulletin helps to carry the Commitment Theme into worship. It has this year’s logo imprinted on cover and blank inside. It is 4-color on cover, 8 ½” x 11”, and 60-lb. recycled (15% post consumer), opaque White Pristine offset paper stock. Available in packages of 100.

A tithe (from Old English teogoþa, "tenth") is a one-tenth part of something, paid as a (usually) voluntary contribution, usually to support a religious organization. Today, tithes (or tithing) are normally voluntary and paid in cash or checks; whereas historically tithes could be paid in kind, such as agricultural products.
