In the first section of his volume, Bateman treats introductory matters such as the authorship, date, and recipients; genre; structure; and canonicity. Part 2 is given over to the all-important use of the Old Testament and the Second Temple; while part 3 is devoted to theological issues such as the exalted Christology, salvation, and warning passages. Part 4 treats exegetical concerns such as text-critical issues, figures of speech, and key words in Hebrews.
Along with other volumes in the Kregel Charts of the Bible series, it concludes with a helpful commentary secction and complete bibliography to help students and pastors make full use of the charts.
