In July, a Starbucks employee was fired and later arrested for spitting into coffee purchased by police officers. As weeks of protest continue, we’ve seen examples of productive and unproductive resistance. While resistance isn’t always peaceful, it shouldn’t be petty or frivolous. This week in LinC we’ll talk about maintaining a level of respect whenever we can. Key Scriptures: Matthew 7:7-12; 1 Kings 3:16-28; 1 Thessalonians 5:12-18. It’s almost not fair what they’ve done to the Karens of the world. Not the stereotype, just the people actually named Karen.
